Filter Option for Result Tables in Design Modules

When designing several members in one design case, it is sometimes difficult to recognize the governing design checks. To improve the overview and to display the relevant design checks in a compact way, you can use the filter options under the result tables. These are included in all design modules of steel, aluminum, and timber structures in RFEM and RSTAB.

Maximum Design Ratios

The definition of the filter under a result table can be used to display the maximum design ratios. In the result table with the result display by member, the maximum design by member is only displayed when the filter is active. Thus, the results can be reduced significantly and arranged in a clearer way.

These filter settings are available in all result tables and can, therefore, also be used to display the maximum design ratios by cross-section, or the governing load cases.

Unfulfilled Design Checks and Design with High Design Ratios

If you select "> 1.0," the result filter can also be used to display all unfulfilled design checks. Non-designable messages are recognized, as well as normal ratios greater than 1. You can also enter a certain design ratio as of which the design checks are displayed.

Filter Option in Printout Report

The filter option described above can also be used in the printout report. This is available in the selection of topics of the printout report in the corresponding section for the results of the add-on module.
